Australia Post to accept donations at retail outlets for the Red Cross Pakistan Floods Appeal
Wednesday, 01 September 2010
Australia Post is shocked by the devastation caused by the recent floods in Pakistan. More than 1500 people have died and 17 million people are currently affected by Pakistan's worst flooding in 80 years.
Australian Red Cross is working to provide assistance, but needs more support to provide food, water, shelter and healthcare needs to those most affected. When the floodwaters recede, Red Cross will continue working with those people most affected to help them recover.
Australia Post is accepting EFTPOS and cash donations at its retail outlets to make it easier for Australians to support the Red Cross Pakistan Floods 2010 Appeal.
To make a donation to the Red Cross Pakistan Floods 2010 Appeal, simply visit one of our 4000 post offices and make a cash or EFTPOS donation.
