International mail delays - update

"Australia Post has been advised that flights to affected destinations will resume from this evening and that the airlines will be working to airlift mail to affected international destinations as soon as possible.

The airlines are aiming to uplift this mail as soon as possible. Due to the delays caused by the volcanic ash situation and the volume of mail required to be airlifted, this will be done over a period of time and will be dependant on the availability of flights and capacity.

Australia Post is being kept informed by airlines as information comes to hand."
